The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) will now be using generative artificial intelligence (AI) through its regional secondary education system.
CXC and the government of Anguilla signed a Memorandum of Understanding to utilise this technology going forward this morning, which also marks the official start of the May/June examination period.
CXC’s Pro-Registrar and Deputy Executive Officer, Dr Eduardo Ali, notes this is a collaborative effort between the examination governing body and regional governments. He also stresses the importance of using the technology ethically and not for nefarious acts.
