Dean Emeritus Harold Crichlow marked his 90th birthday at a special service held at the Cathedral Church of the St. Michael and All Angels today.
There were singing of hymns, prayers, speeches and a special performance from the Mighty Gabby who sang well done.
Former President of the Barbados Senate Kerry-Ann Ifill says she developed a closeness with Dean Crichlow from a tender age when her grandmother took her to the Cathedral, and also spent ten years sitting beside him in the Senate Chamber.
Dean Emeritus Crichlow’s brother Reverend Winston Crichlow says his sibling’s life is a gift.
Reverend Crichlow thanked the family and friends who joined the celebration.
Reverend Crichlow presented a gift to the Cathedral Church of the St. Michael and All Angels on behalf of the Dean Emeritus who also received a birthday gift from the church.
