Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce is reporting a significant decline in complaints from the public about how police officers are handling situations in the field.
He says this is likely due to ongoing training of officers particularly on how to manage domestic violence and other sensitive matters.
Mr. Boyce also notes the Barbados Police Service is working on improving its response time to reports.
