The woman who managed the well-oiled machine that led new Member of Parliament for St. James North Chad Blackman to victory at the polls says she is pleased with the major win.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works Santia Bradshaw, who served as Blackman’s campaign manager, tells CBC News the win is also a victory for the Barbados Labour Party.
Deputy Prime Minister Bradshaw, who says while this is the first time she has been deeply involved in a campaign at a managerial level, noted this by-election has given Government an opportunity to get a closer look at issues affecting constituents.
