The dispute at the Barbados Community College remains unresolved.
This, after management of the BCC and the National Union of Public Workers met at the round table today to discuss ongoing concerns surrounding the appointment of an individual to a vacant post at the college.
The meeting follows yesterday’s industrial action taken by staff to vent their concerns on the matter.
General Secretary of the NUPW, Richard Green, says while the meeting went cordially, the issue at hand is one that evokes emotions among staff.
Meanwhile, the college’s principal, Annette Alleyne, also described the discussions, which lasted for approximately two hours, as cordial.
