A stark warning tonight for parents across Barbados: if they fail to guide their children, the streets will.
That message comes from Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Charles Griffith, who is voicing deep concern about the growing number of young men losing their lives to violence.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony for cohort six of the Barbados Youth Advance Corps, themed “Rooted in Growth and Rising in Strength,” Minister Griffith urged parents to take a more active role in shaping their children’s lives.
CBC’s Anesta Henry has that story.
