Barbadians are being urged to take the necessary precautions against a moderate plume of Sahara dust currently affecting the island.
The call from Meteorologist One Tia Browne.
She says some reduction in concentrations is expected on Monday, but slight haze will still be present in the middle of this week.
Just last week, Chief Medical Officer, Dr the Most Honourable Kenneth George, said the Sahara dust creates an allergic-type phenomenon.
