Education officials are preparing the country for the next wave of development through education.
That is according to Minister of Educational Transformation Chad Blackman, who says a country cannot be competitive, robust or punch above its weight if its educational foundation is not strong, refurbished and retooled.
Over the last two years, a number of training mechanisms have been implemented to ensure the education system continues to move forward.
Additionally, Minister Blackman says the ministry has conducted workshops exposing teachers at both the primary and secondary levels to content and skills in several subject areas, including project-based learning and special needs education.
