Barbados has already started multiple conversations to shorten the tourism and trade bridge between Africa and the Caribbean.
That was one of the main points emerging from day two of the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2022.
Word of the discussions Barbados has been having with potential airline partners for a direct link between the island and Africa, came from Tourism and International Transport Minister Senator Lisa Cummins.
She made the comment during a session which focused on improving logistics between Africa and the Caribbean, for the promotion of tourism, trade, telecommunications and investment.
