A warning tonight that the abuse and misuse of senior citizens is all around us and even sometimes within the family circle.
The comment is contained in a message from the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP), ahead of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, which is on Sunday.
President of BARP Marilyn Rice-Bowen says elder abuse exists in our communities and our neighbourhoods.
