The Caribbean’s vulnerability to hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters has prompted an innovation in preparedness.
The Ross University School of Medicine has officially launched the Caribbean Emergency and Disaster Medicine Centre, known as “CEDMed.”
The Centre will serve as a regional hub for training, research, and strengthening emergency response capacity across the islands.
