Fake honey is being sold in Barbados.
The disclosure came from the operations coordinator at Hipoint Farm, Christopher Campbell, during a field trip to the Hayman Farmers Market by the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme on Friday.
He was at the time discussing honey and its by-products with the visiting cohort, but the farmer gave some advice as he acknowledged a growing interest in the sector, as a result of renewed attention driven by new players in the market.
