As men were encouraged to fulfil their role on Father’s Day, they were also celebrated.
In fact, one restaurant says that Father’s Day celebrations have become as popular as Mother’s Day celebrations.
The Radisson Hotel’s General Manager, Gerry Lewis, says that while their restaurant is normally fully booked for both days, the Mother’s Day luncheon is usually sold out much quicker than the Father’s Day lunch.
However, he says this year and this time around, fathers are being treated like kings.
