There has been another fire at the old Ministry of Health Complex in Bay Street.
Motorists heading into the City today from the south of the island were diverted as a result of that blaze, this time at the old Family Planning building.
Divisional Officer Tremell Perch says reports of the blaze reached their operations control at 9:05 am. He says the roof was on fire and officers fought to contain the blaze when they arrived.
As a result of the fire, organisers of Tipsy Music Festival pushed back the start of their beach event by an hour to begin at 1:00 p.m. instead of the original time of midday.
