Police are investigating a stabbing incident at the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex.
CBC News understands a vendor was attacked and chopped about the body by another vendor just after 9 a.m.
The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer Inspector Ryan Brathwaite says police have a person of interest in custody assisting with investigations.
Investigations are continuing.
