Flow Barbados has invested a quarter million dollars in Barbados’ sweetest summer festival.
The announcement came on Tuesday as Flow Barbados launched its biggest-ever Crop Over partnership with the National Cultural Foundation (NCF), committing $150,000 towards NCF-produced events and an additional $100,000 to privately produced events.
Vice President and General Manager of Flow Barbados Desron Bynoe said the company is helping to set the tone and tempo of Crop Over 2025, from Junior Monarch to Soca 25, Fusions and to Grand Kadooment.
Flow also remains the title sponsor of Soca on the Hill and Dis Is Rick, and is backing several other major privately produced events.
The company will once again hit the road with bands on Grand Kadooment Day, powering the official livestream to bring the Mega Monday vibes to audiences around the world.
NCF’s Chief Cultural Officer, Andrea Wells, thanked Flow for its commitment to cultural preservation and innovation, describing the partnership with Flow and Liberty Caribbean as more than just sponsors but collaborators in culture.
CEO of Liberty Caribbean Inge Smidts described the recent rebrand and renaming of the parent company as a reaffirmation of its purpose to connect communities and enrich lives across the region.
