Government is pushing to increase interest in agriculture.
The Ministry of Training and Tertiary Education will soon expand its efforts to deepen and broaden engagement in agriculture across both primary and secondary schools islandwide.
This initiative aligns with the new Barbados Institute of Food and Agriculture project, facilitated by China.
It will be implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture at both Dukes in St. Thomas and Hope in St. Lucy.
