Government says it is not paying people actively involved in crime to stay away from those activities.
Minister of State Corey Lane addressed the subject during today’s debate in response to questions from Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne about the National Peace Programme.

Mr. Lane agrees that being told financial empowerment will come through training can be easily misinterpreted for financial assistance.
