As Government observes its 7th anniversary of taking office, it is realising its 2018 manifesto promise of providing affordable, resilient home ownership.
This, as Minister of Housing, Lands and Maintenance, Dwight Sutherland, announced today that Government has just signed off on an ambitious agreement with Guyanese manufacturer Dura Villa for the construction of more than 500 houses.
He made the announcement while addressing the opening of Clifden Development in St. Philip, where 11 Dura Villa hardwood houses have been built.
Our Anesta Henry was there and has the story.
