A plea for teachers in Barbados and the region to be adequately compensated in a bid to address the growing trend of teacher migration.
President of the Caribbean Union of Teachers Garth Anderson, made the case in his address at the opening of the union’s two-day executive meeting in Barbados.
Mr. Anderson has also issued a warning to officials about reinforcing dress codes and discipline to help combat violence and hostility in schools.
