As Barbados joins the world in observing World Aids Day, an international day of significance, Barbadians are being reminded that the disease is still prevalent in society.
And Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey, is calling on members of the public to protect themselves from the virus.
He was addressing members of the media at the World Aids Day family fun day, at Friendship Playing Field, Lower Estate, St George, on Sunday.
