Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan, says addressing the non-communicable disease crisis in Barbados and the wider Caribbean requires honesty, decisive action, and a balance between protecting lives and supporting livelihoods.
He was speaking on day two of a regional meeting focused on protecting NCD policymaking from conflicts of interest and undue influence, being held at the Courtyard by Marriott.
