The voice of the nation’s youth is critical to finding solutions to crime and violence in Barbados.
That is the view of the Director of the Criminal Justice Research and Planning Unit, Cheryl Willoughby, who has also criticised some parents for failing in their responsibilities to their children.
She was speaking on Saturday in Freedom Park at the annual “Youth Speak-Off” – a competition she says gives young people a chance to be heard.
