There is concern about a music video making the rounds on social media.
It is coming from the International Women’s Forum Barbados (IWF) chapter, which calls it sexually explicit and demeaning to women.
IWF president Tracey Shuffler, says that as an organisation dedicated to the advancement of women’s leadership, they recognise the profound impact that media representations have on societal attitudes and behaviours, particularly among the nation’s youth.
Ms Shuffler says while they fully support creative license in the arts, they are calling on artists, producers and media platforms to exercise the greatest degree of responsibility in their creative choices.
