The month of June is shaping up to be a good one for hoteliers on island.
The Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association is reporting its members are seeing the highest bookings in five years.
Chairman Javon Griffith says much has changed, as Barbados was once considered a November to April destination.
He extended gratitude to the island’s tourism officials.
Mr. Griffith is among a BHTA team in Antigua and Barbuda for the Caribbean Travel Marketplace.
He says there’s been incredible growth in the tourism industry, with arrivals being driven by North America.
