President Dame Sandra Mason and Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley were among those gathered at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens to bid farewell to Lady Pauline Walcott.
Lady Walcott is the widow of National Hero Sir Frank Walcott, the late former General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union.
During the service, former General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union, Sir Roy Trotman, said Lady Walcott gave many years of service to Barbados and the BWU.
He said she served as a dedicated secretary to General Secretaries of the BWU.
