Amid all that bad weather a large tree fell on a car injuring the driver.
Jalissa Niles was travelling along Black Rock Main Road, near to the bottom of Free Hill at the time.
She was the lone occupant and received injuries to her right shoulder, arm and leg.
She was treated by ambulance personnel on the scene.
She’s now asking officials to deal with trees that need to be cut down or removed to prevent future incidents like this one.
Chairperson of the St. Michael North West District Emergency Organisation Doriel Gill-Skinner says this is a wake-up call.
