The Barbados Museum and Historical Society has honoured the legacy of late historian and longtime member, Dr. Karl Watson.
This through its 2025 lecture series, “Watson’s World: A Legacy Unfolds – An Introduction to the Life, Work and Contribution of the Late Dr. Karl Watson”.
Dr. Watson passed away on January 11 after battling cancer.
During the launch, Director Alissandra Cummins noted through the lecture series, the Museum is building on its work with Dr. Watson.
Fellow historian and Chair of the Museum’s Publication and Programming Committee, Dr. Henderson Carter sees the late Dr. Watson as a nation builder.
