Librarian with the National Library of Barbados, Lamar Nicholls, says with the evolution of technology, the face of the library has also changed.
He notes that there is still a wide cross-section of people engaging with texts in libraries.
Additionally, Mr Nicholls says there are a host of other technological resources available to the public.
He was speaking on CBC TV 8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
