Lightning strike frightens residents

While some people may have welcomed the cool weather brought with today’s thunderstorms, it wasn’t the same at a household in Glebe Land, St George.

Our Christopher Wood spoke to a resident who got quite a fright by today’s lightning strike.

According to the Barbados Meteorological Services, as unsettled weather conditions continue affecting Barbados throughout the night, further shower activity could produce flooding actions across some sections of the island.

Therefore, the Barbados Meteorological Services has extended the Flash Flood Watch.
