The local fishing sector which took a major blow from Hurricane Beryl in July last year will soon be casting its line again.
The multi-million dollar Barbados Coastal Fisheries Resilience Project is being touted as one of the remedies to help revive the critical sector currently in survival mode.
The United Nations Development Programme, in partnership with the government of Japan and collaboration with the Barbados Ministry of Environment and National Beautification, Green and Blue Economy today launched the project.
