The Barbados Police Service is conducting investigations into a robbery which occurred around 2:10 p.m. today, Monday, June 2, 2025, along Ivy Main Road.
Investigations revealed that a group of men were sitting outside a shop when they were approached by two masked men who were both carrying firearms. One of the men got up to run off but fell. The assailants robbed him of his property and then fled the scene after discharging a series of gunshots.
The victim was taken for medical attention in a private motorcar. Reports have shown that he suffered a dislocated shoulder and abrasions to his feet and hands as a result of the fall. No one at the scene suffered any gunshot injuries, nor was there any damage to property.
