Police at the Oistins Station are conducting investigations into a shooting, which occurred along Maxwell, Christ Church, on Monday, December 1, 2025, around 11:40 p.m.
The Barbados Police Service notes in a press release that “initial investigations have shown that a male had arrived at his residence, when he was confronted by an assailant with a firearm. A number of gunshots were discharged injuring him.
“He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor car, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. Investigations are continuing into this matter.”
The Service is “appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information that may assist us to please contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1800-8477, Police Emergency at 211 or the Oistins Police Station at 418-2612 or 418-2604.
