The Barbados Police Service arrested and formally charged 36-year-old Omel Justin Walrond of Tudor Bridge, St. Michael with murder.
He has been charged with Barbados’ first murder of 2025. This after Antonio Rochester was hit and pinned to a wall with a truck being driven by Walrond on January 2, 2025.
Walrond appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weeks in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court #1 today Thursday, January 9, 2025. He has been remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) until Thursday, February 6, 2025
