There is major potential for Ghana and Barbados to work together to boost each other’s tourism and cultural industries.
That is according to Ghanaian-American poet, author, media practitioner, and cultural curator, Apiorkor Seyiram Ashong-Abbey.
Ashong-Abbey, who works closely with the Barbados High Commission in Ghana as a cultural advisor, is in Barbados for CARIFESTA XV and is now seeing firsthand how Barbados and her country can work together.
The cultural curator commends the work High Commissioner Her Excellency Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland has been doing on the ground in Ghana, to strengthen bilateral relations. She believes Barbadians need to do the pilgrimage to Ghana.
