The Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs continues to collaborate with various organisations to empower communities and foster positive change.
This was evident during a press conference at the Drug Education and Counselling Services (DECS) headquarters in Roebuck Street, St. Michael, where the impact of initiatives such as the “One Family Programme” and the DECS’ “Second Chance Lessons Programme,” were noted.
During his address at the event this morning, Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey, highlighted the impact of the One Family Programme. He also thanked the Sandy Lane Charitable Trust for contributing to efforts to positively impact communities across Barbados.
