The Ministry of Educational Transformation has announced the roll-out of a course in generative AI for students, beginning in the 2025–2026 school year.
Assistant Director of Coursera, Client Success, and Partnerships at the National Transformation Initiative, Raphael Saul, says the programme will go beyond local training, giving students an international certification.
He also says the course will fit into class time for 4th, 5th and 6th formers at secondary schools.
Minister of Educational Transformation, Chad Blackman, says these platforms will prepare students to navigate a changing world.
