More road repair problems for the Ministry of Transport and Works.
This time a two-foot diameter hole has opened in Joy Road, St. Joseph leading to a four-foot drop-in.
Heavy rainfall in the area over the weekend eroded the hole which was much smaller.
The hole is presenting some concern to motorists because of its position in a bend.
MTW workers examined the damage this morning, erected warning signs, cordoned off the area and are asking the public to proceed with extreme caution.
Now for those who are not sure exactly where the hazard exists, it is about 150 meters travelling uphill on the left side from the newly built road coming from Joe’s River.
