The Barbados Police Service has jointly charged three individuals, including a mother and daughter, with several drug-related offences.
The accused are:
- Abu Zarr Hans, 21 years old, of Ocean View Road, Spooners Hill, St. Michael
- Lisa Cecelia Walcott, 55 years old, of 2nd Avenue, Welchman Hall, St. Thomas
- Destiny Alisa Miracle Greenidge, 19 years old, also of 2nd Avenue, Welchman Hall, St. Thomas
They are being charged for the following offences that were committed while at 2nd Avenue, Welchman Hall, St. Thomas:
- Trafficking a controlled drug with intent to supply
- Possession of cocaine
- Importation of cocaine (10.60 kilograms), valued at BDS $530,000.00
Additionally, Abu Zarr Hans and Destiny Greenidge have been jointly charged with money laundering amounting to BDS $36,667.00
Abu Zarr Hans has also been separately charged with money laundering amounting to BDS $69,802.45
All three accused appeared before Magistrate Beckles at the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 16 April 2025. They were not required to plead to the charges.
Abu Zarr Hans and Destiny Greenidge were each granted bail in the sum of BDS $150,000.0
Lisa Walcott was granted bail in the sum of BDS $100,000.00 with one surety
They are scheduled to reappear in the same court on Wednesday, 20 August 2025.
