The National Organisation of Women is applauding Government’s move to create more opportunities for women to join the ranks of the Barbados Police Service.
This is being done as part of a major expansion project at the Regional Police Training Centre.
President Melissa Savoury-Gittens tell CBC News the organisation fully supports the construction of two new dormitories at the Seawell, Christ Church facility, one of which will accommodate 30 female recruits per cohort.
