Head of the Barbados Agricultural Society is appealing for more veterinary professionals in Barbados.
Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society James Paul says there are not enough vets graduating to meet the needs of the farming industry.
He made the appeal during an interview with the media on the sidelines of Pinnacle Feeds Seminar.
Mr. Paul says as Barbados seeks to boost its agricultural industry, young people should be encouraged to seek to pursue veterinary careers.
