A new agropark is on the cards for Bawdens, St. Andrew.
Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural and Development Management Agency, Fredrick Inniss, reveals funding for its creation has been approved for the upcoming financial year.
According to Mr. Inniss, the plan is for the space to be eventually turned over to community groups to help run it.
He explains one of the central features of the agropark will be an aquaculture pond.
