Mothers awaiting child maintenance payments, facing challenges with lengthy delays in receiving monies from the court will get some relief.
Attorney General Dale Marshall says Government will soon be introducing an electronic payment system for child maintenance.
He gave the update during the Estimates Debate.
The Attorney General also reports that this financial year work will start on renovating the St. Matthias Court closed due to ongoing industrial issues.
Mr. Marshall is also announcing that the responsibility of registering births and deaths will be moved from the High Court Registry to the Electoral and Boundaries Commission where it properly belongs.
