New Minister of Housing, Lands and Maintenance Chris Gibbs says there is much work to be done and plans to start by addressing the “list” of housing issues.
He says he is ready to get on with the country’s business and find housing solutions for Barbadians.
Speaking at his Country Road, St. Michael office, Minister Gibbs thanked Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley for trusting him with the post. He took over following the resignation of former Minister Dwight Sutherland last week.
Minister Gibbs adds he will be on the ground to ensure his Ministry achieves its mandate and has pledged to continue the good work of his predecessor.
