New students urged to take advantage of BCC

New students of the Barbados Community College are being encouraged to take advantage of their chance at the institution.

Principal Annette Alleyne says it does not matter what background students come from, pursuing studies at the college is their chance to enhance themselves personally and academically.

She was addressing the college’s convocation ceremony.

During the ceremony, hundreds of students got information about the college’s offerings from the management team and were given words of encouragement.

Mental Health Consultant Dr. Janelle Chase-Mayers is challenging the students to strive to make an impact.
