There is no outbreak of the COVID-19 virus at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
This is according to Communications Specialist Shane Sealy.
He says more patients are presenting to the Accident and Emergency Department with symptoms of the virus, but assures the public there is no reason to panic contrary to reports on social media.
Mr. Sealy says health officials are continuing to monitor trends in relation to the virus that caused the pandemic.
