None of the 26 casualties, including Lester Vaughan School students, suffered life-threatening injuries when a route taxi lost control and overturned along Cane Garden Road, St Thomas, on Monday morning, but a few injuries were serious.
That update from Dr Anne-Marie Cruickshank, Head of the Accident and Emergency Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
Calling in to QEH’s Pulse Radio Show on Q 100.7 FM, Dr Cruickshank said 23 of the cases were minor.
