Deputy Chairman of the National Insurance Board, Rawdon Adams is making it clear raising the retirement age to 72 is just one of the options being considered to preserve the National Insurance Scheme.

During the meeting at the Princess Margaret School, Mr. Adams also sought to dispel suggestions the Fund was being mismanaged.

He says the country’s changing demographics, which include a growing elderly population and fewer births are the main challenges, not how the Fund is being managed.
