The Older Persons (Care and Protection) Bill, 2026, is long overdue.
That is according to Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Adrian Forde, as he tabled the legislation in Parliament this morning.
He says this important piece of legislation will take care of the nation’s elderly in their twilight years.
