The Ministry of Transport and Works is delivering on a $100 million CAF-funded programme to rehabilitate Barbados’ road network.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works, Santia Bradshaw, along with the ministry’s technical team, updated the media on the various roadworks being undertaken.
Minister Bradshaw says over 20 roads have been completed so far, with several others still in progress.
She acknowledges that challenges remain, particularly delays, but stresses that these are no fault of the contractors.
